(Dave here)

Right - following on from the last Moscow entry, today we again traveled to Red Square where it was snowing - very much how you expect it to look.

We went to Lenin's Mausoleum - a bit like Madame Tussauds! We then went to Izmailovsky Park on a tour of the metro stations many of which are amazing - puts the Tube to shame - especially as they seem to arrive about every 60 seconds! With the Bum Bag hidden under Emma's coat, she was offered the seat in the metro many times!

Izmailovsky Park is a market and although it is at its best during the weekend, there were still quite a few stalls there - mainly selling clothes for locals.

We then had lunch in a purely Russian restuarant - quite an achievement and we received something similar to what we thought we had ordered!

We finally went to the Russian Revolutionary museum after being guarenteed by the ticket clerk that it was "all in Russian and English" and spent about an hour looking around for the English!

Back home to watch the news and quench Emma's thirst for the weather forecast - a bit like a reverse version of the fast shows "Scorchio" sketch, with most places in Russia being somewhere between -5 and -35!
