Paternoster called St-Tropez of SA! I took out the bike for another ride, this time along the coast...trying to become friends with loose sand again ;-).
First part of the trip was going to the lighthouse. My hosts told me it could go straight, when you tell that an orienteering guy, he takes it literally. So I took the sandy road running into the lighthouse, going through a property. At about 300 m I could not continue so I knew I took it too literally :-). Turned back and after a while I reached the lighthouse. You can visit the ligghthouse, nice you can climb in the tower, the higher the narrow and finally you stand next to the light.
I continued the way to "Tietisbaai", nice beach where you're allowed to camp. This was the first turn point, back to Paternoster. I took a quick lunch and could go this time north of Paternoster. The dirt road was really sandy...not really easy so I decided to ride on the beach. When I was at the farrest point it was almost the time that wind was gonna come up...so it was gonna be hard! Every 5 min I could feel that wind was becoming stronger...
Finally I did 35 km! Time to relax a bit.
In the evening another dinner along the beach and the visit of Paternoster was almost over...
