As I grew up in Klerksdorp, most of my friends are here (they are still here I might ad). I you have been in Klerksdorp once you have to admit it is quite a place for youn people to go party. But the wedding was not in Klerksdorp, it was in about 15 minutes drive from a small town called Viljoenskroon in the Freestate which is about 45 minutes to an hours drive by car from Klerksdorp.
The place where we were going was Limerick Lodge.

It is a beautiful place situated next to a river that calmly flows through the grounds of Limerick Lodge. The place where the wedding took place was a double story building. At the bottom was where the wedding ceremony was to take place and afterwards the party on the top floor.

Although my friend looked beautiful in her white dress filled with pink beads, which probably took a while to sew on, I wasn't amused with the person she got married to. He said some very nasty things about my best friend the night before and I just didn't know how to forgive him for that. She definitely didn't have my approval as one of her best friends but all in all it was a great wedding and she looked beautiful...

Although we didn't stay long at the wedding as we were to drive back to Pongola, I think she was greatful that I had made the trip to the wedding.

Our Accomodation was in Potchefstroom about 20 minutes drive from Limerick and the roads weren't that great, but when we got to Potch (locals call Potchefstroom only Potch) we went to a local club called 'Bourbons" where mostly students hang out.

After two drinks we called it a night and decided to go back to our guest rooms at Cherry on Top which is a cosy little inn with two beds, a kitchen and a bathroom as well as a TV.
