Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday night, as usual, I visited the center as the sun completed its work for the day. Carter, Brandon, and I headed out to Cangumbang, equipped with peanuts and bread filled with coconut for the kids.

They were a bit out of control through the evening, their energy sparked by Brandon and Carter's presence and the darkness. After handing out snacks and distributing groceries to my kids as usual, I was quite exhausted. I bought rice from the local plaza store for May Joy, Jon-Jon, and their siblings, snapped a few photos and we were on our way. Our motorcycle was nearly tipped over by the screaming kids swarming us for high fives good bye. 

I also spent one day this week, and Rachel spent one day, trying to get an ultrasound for Ate Corazon, who is now almost 8 months along. The hospital system continues to frustrate me each time I visit. The doctors aren't in when they say they will be, the clinics only do ultrasounds for 1 hour a day, or the hospital simply doesn't have the equipment needed. Each time I feel more thankful for the resources I so ungratefully utilized my entire life.

We are taking Ate Corazon for her "scheduled ultrasound on August 2nd.

I don't think I ever asked you- will the center have a generator so they have power? and, was carter impressed with your dream becoming a reality?

We are working on the regular electrical now. Carter did say it was quite crazy to see in real life :)
