Allright, I'm back in Hannover from my weekend's extravaganza. It was
good, nay more than good, great. I had a fun time in Rothenburg, just
wandering the streets, shops and walls. (the main point of the entry is
going to be "I'll write more later, I'm exhausted now") Got into
Haßfurt Sunday night and promptly was called to a dystocia. Got to bed
late, and was up early to spend a busy day in the car. It was awesome,
though. I got to do tons on my own. I rode with Ellen, one of Dr.
Ellers associates. She is intense (marathon runner, etc), but super
cool. I think I should have done all three weeks there. After she
checked me on one palpation, she gave me free reign, and said I
was in charge. Good thing I'm confident on my palpation skills!
Both she and Dr. Eller said multiple times that they would love to hire
me. I told them I had to learn German first, and Ellen said that didn't
matter, I'd learn it on the fly. I don't think I'm quite ready to up
and move here yet. Although germany is a great place, I've come to
find. So, I've got four days left here at the clinic in hannover, and
then I'll be home saturday.
I'll write more later,
Love,
Beth
PS. It was great to hear from some of you this weekend!!
