emergencies come in, one cow who tried to cut off her own teat. We had
to finish the job for her, considering it wasn't salvageable. We also
had a right displaced abomasum that went to surgery. After that, it was
on to evening treatments, which took quite a while as well. I was just
going to bag dinner and go to bed, but the guys came in and declared
they were making me Mexican soup for dinner. I must have looked at them
oddly, because Christof goes 'you live in america, you must like
mexican food!' Apparently, they found the recipe in some farmer
magazine and decided to cook it up for dinner. It wasn't half bad,
quite good actually. So, it made for another late night. But an overall
great day!
