There is one primary motivation to go to Agra-to see the Taj Mahal! We stopped by Fatehpur Sikri on the way from Jaipur to Agra, and the Jama Masjid and Panch Mahal were beautiful, but they were no Taj! It is indeed grand and beautiful. I would recommend going in the morning well-clothed, as it can get pretty cold, but its also the time with the fewest number of tourists. Watch out for people trying to scam you and trying to sell you stuff, but you will be left alone on the inside. I was wearing a sari, and there were several locals that tried to fix the way I was wearing it, which I appreciated it. Its also a great place to interact, so don't be afraid to smile and take pictures with them!
