If there's one thing I learned from the Spain trip, it's that packing too little is better than packing too much. Pack the essentials and leave the rest at home.

I got all of my stuff into Europe approved carry-on luggage. 1 22x15x9 rolling bag plus a laptop bag, purse, or shoulder bag. That's it. And oh yeah, your bag has to weigh under 8 kg, that's 17.6 lbs.

If you want to make it work, you have to start with the luggage. My bag weighs 6 lbs. The laptop bag is under 2 lbs. I bought them on amazon for under $40. You definitely don't want to be wasting your weight allowance on the bag itself.

I also only packed 6 or 7 days worth of clothes. I only had to pack for one climate this time. When I went to Spain, I had to pack for January-June, so that required a lot more stuff.

In addition to the stuff in the pictures, I also have flip flops to use as shower shoes, an alarm clock, and a cross-body purse to put my stuff in for touring.

Also, to stay compliant with the weight guidelines, I have to wear jeans, chacos, aand the blazer on the plane, which is a pretty interesting outfit.

Am I forgetting anything?

And before anybody says it - I remembered my underwear, just didn't think the Internet needed evidence of my unmentionables.
