Let the actual vacation begin!
Well, that didn't happen the way I wanted it to. Had to take Kaleb to a walk in clinic due to asthma problems. It wasn't anything too serious, just didn't want it to get out of hand. Realized while we were waiting to be seen that he needed a haircut. We went to this barbershop and that was a trip. No one spoke English just Spanish and you just pointed to pictures on the wall of haircuts you wanted. Guess that makes Kaleb part Spanish! lol! They started buzzing away, really short but turned out ok. I will say in my lifetime, I have never paid for a haircut out of state until today!
Later in the day, we went miniature golfing or put-put, depending on what you prefer. It was about 62 degrees and very sunny. We played 18 holes with myself becoming the 2012 Champion of the family. Kaleb's coming along with his game. He tied Jodi for second place. We did allow the drag the ball with your putter as only one hit. That happened just a couple of times.
After, we went to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream. We all had creme n' cookies. It was delicious. The last thing we did before we headed back to Ray and Helen's was to spend some money shopping. Kaleb and I bought new baseball gloves to play catch. Jodi and the baby did not enjoy the walking.
Not much to our day today, but tomorrow brings Disney's Magic Kingdom. So excited!
