What a day. I spent most of my day at the Karama Women's Rights Conference and Mahfoutha Sindiyanat El Karama Award Ceremony. The conference consisted of powerful, dynamic women from throughout the Middle East and parts of Africa about the state of women's rights in these regions...

Lubna Hussein, a Sudanese journalist who received 40 lashes and jail time for wearing pants outside was the recipient of this prestigious award.

Later, by popular suggestion, my uncle and I went to Sequoia. This lounge sits on top of the Nile and has a dynamic view and rich atmosphere. If you find yourself in Cairo you MUST stop by!
