Where I stayed
Air Asia Terminal
Not sure why im writing about my waiting in the airport but thought id make the blog detailed atleast. Managed about 3-4 hours sleep on the 6 and a half journey to KL so wasnt feelin too bad. I forgot how humid asia was got into the terminal and the air was so thick i thought im glad ive only got a 5 hour wait now instead of 6 due to my delayed plane. Had a meal where me and katie ate before but forgot what i ordered last time which was nice so ended up with something not as good. Its great travelling with a laptop been watching fast show and then event horizon. pretty dark thought id seen it before but obviously i was thinking of a different film where morphious is in space fighing against a possessed spaceship that has accidently been teleported to hell and back. Had some vague idea that my flight was only a few hours to taipei which was totally wrong it was another 5 and a half hours. Could have been bad when a fat man sat on my row but luckly he was 1 seat away from me. When i woke up later he had gone and only returned near the end of the flight to scoff a pot noodle which he spilt quite alot of on his shirt. I was reading at the time but laughed quite blatently. Wouldnt have been so funny if he was sitting next to me. I remember picking a window seat because i was flying at night and wanted to try and see taipei 101 from the plane. Didnt get to see it but Taipei looks really weird. There were all these blocks of colour that looked like lego bricks. We were pretty high so they might have been the tops of factories but i dunno why you would cover the tops completely in lights. some were orange some were yellow and some were light blue. Ah yes forgot to add that apart from all the obvious factors. You can tell when you reach a country with a booming trade in ripoff merchandise when basically every girl in the airport has a gucci bag. and each has its own take on the logo. The girl infront of my had a "Burbury" top on which looked like it had been sown in by a blind man.
