Cant believe its the last day in Japan and we are leaving for the airport in about an hour. We are have been staying in Osaka about 2 mins walk away from the red light district at this hostel that basically tried to make us sleep on the floor and when we went to walk around at night there are homeless people lying in the road and smoking plastic bags but its still been amazing. Got up early this morning to go and see the largest wooden building in the world. Inside it is the largest indoor budda statue and although it wasnt as tall as the giant budda in thailand (i think i may be a budda statue conneseour it was deffinatly biggest by volume. Think i might have got heat stroke its so hot today then we left it at that for temples and religious stuff for the rest of the trip now. Just going for shopping and beaches as there so little time left. Get the violins out. Anyway after that we went to a sake tasting session at a brewery (well before midday). Got to try 6 different sorts of sake and some sake snacks. Quite good value as the woman serving us offered a taste, half cup or full cup. 6 full cups of sake for 3 quid. Ended up buying a small bottle of my favourite that ill probably send back but not sure if its really my cup of tea. Fly to manila for a day of shopping then onto indonesia for beaches and diving. been in cities for so long cant wait.
