Trip End
Nov 22, 2005
Its dark at four o'clock, its rainy and its about three degrees. We're home. Its been two weeks now since walking through the arrivals door in Dublin airport and reality has finally kicked in. The whole year was worth it just for the welcome home we got in the airport. I've never felt so popular. I think thats come to an end now though. Its been great meetin up with everyone again. I love having a fridge full of food and not having to label it. Bus journeys dont take twenty hours (ignoring Dublin bus). There's been plenty of boozin and hangovers, so in that sense its still like being away. However now its time for job hunting which has been going well despite all the "touching base" thats been going on. Its been a year I'll never forget (sober moments only). Its been a privalige to meet the Whitman family who I'm truly indebted to and all the other travellers we met along the way. To anyone who is still out there you had better enjoy it cos it doesn't last forever. 'till next time
