There isn't a huge amount I can say bout Battembang. Its Cambodia's second biggest city although you wouldn't know that. After 9pm there is absolutely no life there at all, in fact there's barely even bloody street lights.

So we ended up hiring out three guides to take us around the area and ended up having a great day. It was bloody hot and we were bloody dirty, owning to the fact that all the roads around are dirt roads but ended up seeing some great stuff including gate crashing a local wedding and nearly dying on a bamboo train
