Bah.. The Backstreet Boys are singing another love song through a small stereo system in the internet cafe again... Actually it's not the Backstreet Boys, as I found out while playing pool with Mohawk and Sylvena in Hoi An, every overplayed boy band song I thought was the Backstreet Boys was some other immensely popular boy band I didn't know.
"I don't care who you are, where you're from, what you did, as long as you love me..."
Who sings this?
Despite it being a completely cheesy song, it kinda, sorta fits the way that Vietnam has bounced back from the American War.
PS. I've extended my visa and am now trying to change my return flight date from 1st to the 7th of April. I simply do not have enough time to get to Saigon.

I had 70 odd photos ready to upload but I couldn't do it on Viet's (guy I was staying with in Da Nang) computer as it'll take him over his monthly usage.
Put them all on his memory stick but then didn't find time to go to the internet cafe and I'm now in Hoi An until Wednesday when I go back for the firework competition in Da Nang.
Still trying to get my flight date changed to 7th April (one more week) but because I bought a promotional ticket I might have to pay the difference.. or look for a cheap ticket online.
