We started the day by doing a dump - of the RV variety!! - and sorting out our flights home and then we drove into Las Vegas. We were able to park in a free car parl at Circus Circus right on the strip, so we were right in the centre of everything. We walked South and hit some shops! Ed bought some sandals! Then we went to look in a few casino`s. It was all very exciting! They are all huge and very beautiful inside. Each casino has its own theatre too so there is loads of stuff going on. One of the best things about Vegas is that there are lots of free shows put on so you don`t have to spend millions if you don`t want to. We went to a couple of these shows. The first was a water dancing show at the Bellagio. That was cool! The water dances in different directions to the beat of the music! We watched that twice and it was different both times. That was wicked! The second show was a circus show which was a funny guy juggling! That was fun too!

Tonight we went to the tower here which is called Stratosphere. It has an observation deck which we went to and looked out at the bright lights of the city - we missed the sunset unfortunately, but seeing Vegas at night is great. There are lights everywhere! Also at the top of the tower are 3 rides - yes I said at the top of the tower! X-scream shoots you right out over the city and hangs you in mid air - very scary stuff! Insanity is a circle of people that are spun round over the edge of the tower. That didn`t actually look too bad! The third ride is called Big Shot and is the same as the Pepsi Max at Blackpool where you shoot up the pole at some ridiculously fast speed and then drop down at an equally ridiculous speed, all at a ridiculous height at the top of the tower! Needless to say Ed had a go on this one! I passed and remained safely on the observation deck, listening to Ed`s Woah!!! and taking some pics of him hitting the sky!!!
Last thing tonight, before we headed back to the RV and started the drive to Zion we went gambling in Circus Circus. Neither of us really knew what we were doing but at least now we can say we have gambled in Vegas!!!!
