After lunch we headed off for a 3 hr walk to Johanna beach without Jan. We walked up a bluff that gave us a full view of the coast with Station Beach which we walked this morning way in the distance. We had come far.
I soon became overheated again, so I paced myself to conserve energy. As we went from scenery spot to scenery spot it did not take before we started our decent to Johanna beach.

My feet had many hot spots (blisters in waiting). It was great to get the boots off and let the feet cool off in the water. I thought I heard a hissing sound as I placed my feet in the water. A number of the girls went in deeper and got a cool down with the breaking waves.

Walking Johanna beach was again tiring as one sunk in with each step. An incoming tide washed away footprints so it was harder to follow existing footprints. This aside it was nice walking along such a nice beach, but by the end my energy levels were spent. Kindly, Analee came back to take my day pack for me.
Jan having sat out this leg had organised a surprise Ice-cream and beer/bubble for the fellow walkers. The ice-cream when down nicely.
