Hello, everyone!

St. Paul's work group has been here for the past week or so and they've gotten so much done! We (ok, the guys and Gonzalo) put up plywood in the classroom to reduce the heat, and then we painted it and it looks so wonderful. We (again, the guys) also made a large kid-sized table and also made a puppet theater.

Mom and June organized and organized. My apartment is now totally livable, I'm happy to say! Now I just have to figure out where everything is again.

On Tuesday, we went on a 4-in-1 tour to a coffee plantation, the Poas Volcano, the La Paz waterfalls, and went on a boat ride on the Sarapiqui river to see animals. It was cool... though there was so much fog that we couldn't see the crater of the volcano.

I also found out a couple of weeks ago that I was accepted into the Chicago Civic Orchestra, so that'll be my job while I'm in seminary. I'm very much looking forward to playing in an orchestra again!!!

Things are falling into place with finding the next director of the program as well. I've got a tough decision ahead, but I'm just wrapping up the interview process. Now to concentrate on that funding.

Anyway, hope you all are well. Enjoy the pictures!

Peace,
Elizabeth

Hello, Mom
I am just writing to congratulate my mom...June...who's in Costa Rica now helping do whatever needs doing. She's a dynamo, eh? Elizabeth, I also wanted to commend you on your excellent work there! It's wonderful that you've dedicated your life to such a worthwhile cause. We need more people like you!

We're anxious to hear all about mom's adventures. Hopefully none involve seeing a snake! (Her worst fear.} I'm especially excited to hear about the tropical wildlife.

Kind Regards,
Debbie
