Today marks 12 months since we left on our epic journey across the world. Who would have thought we'd make it this far? We hoped, dreamed and planned that we would but we still didn't fully believe we could be away from our friends and families for such a long stretch of time. In the last year we have experienced more than most people get to experience in a life time. We have seen many wonders of the world, achieved a life long dream of working in another country, tasted the local beers in every country visited, cemented our love for each other and most of all realised just how much every single friend and family member means to us.

Today we took the time to remember what we have seen and achieved in this long and short year, hopefully you remembered us today and realised we were mostly thinking of you guys!

Aside from this we took the bus from Copacabana to La Paz in Bolivia, which included a boat ride across Lake Titicaca at San Pablo de Tiquina (the bus went on a barge) where we tried not to notice there was only one old, fraying life vest for 15 people. After safely making it to La Paz we enjoyed a celebratory dinner. Cheers to 12 months guys! Only 7 months more and we will be home for good. Well until we can save up enough to have another trip, but never for 12 months again. We promise! (Honestly traveling for this long is thoroughly exhausting).
