We had a moment of clarity this morning. When we arrived at our hostel we had a chuckle because it was right beneath a Stripper Club. Every morning we awoke to find a new girl working the hostel desk and apparently sleeping there in a spare dorm. Rick was very happy one morning, running into one coming out of the shower. It dawned on us that these girls were probably strippers earning some extra cash during the quiet period of winter by working and sleeping in the hostel. Rick couldn't wipe the grin off his face.

We caught our ritziest mode of transport yet across to Finland, a short three hour cruise ship ride away. On boarding what we thought was going to be a boring ferry we were surprised to find ourselves on a fully decked out cruise ship complete with games rooms, duty free shopping and nightclubs and bars. We settled in for the ride but unfortunately had to endure a blaringly loud band for the trip. A little bit annoying, though the bingo in a foreign language was kind of funny. Eventually we arrived in Finland and were shocked at the amount of very drunk people exiting the boat. They literally stumbled out of the ship, weighed down with slabs of duty free alcohol. Most of them had purchased about 6 to 7 slabs each.

We managed to find our hotel without too much difficulty and had our dinner with a newly discovered favorite, Fizz Apple Cider. We didn't buy a whole slab but hey if you can't beat the locals join them.
