We slept like babies on the train as we didn't have to worry about anything with the door locked. We missed seeing the white Europe-Asia Border Obelisk outside of Kungur, but who figured we'd miss spotting a snow covered white monument in the middle of the night? Using our favorite new toy we updated the blog and hopefully will upload some updates today. Afterwards we just slept and read books for the rest of the day, sound pretty boring but watching the landscape go by was interesting. It's so different here. With a knock on our door the provodnista was there with two lunch trays. We'd never been given lunch as part of part of the ticket before hence we were a bit surprised. We didn't complain we just ate it quickly before they took it away. Rick ducked outside for some photos at Vyatka (Kirov) and when he came back in he was yelping in pain because he had left his gloves off. The cold is just amazing and we have never experienced anything like it before. Megs absolutely hates it, she could never live anywhere like this and can't wait to get to Europe!
