Sunday night the 7th we finally reached the destination called 'home' and I must say it is so nice to be back, especially with my family.
The last two days in Lusaka were full of meetings and extremely successful, especially in relation to partnering with an education program and establishing the wildlife hospital.
Now that we are home though the work really starts - finding and applying for grants and funds, negotiating the government in Zambia to allow it all to happen, keeping up with our contacts and trying to get some wages coming in for me so I can fully commit to the cause without having to go out to work for someone building an empire on self preservation instead of world preservation....
Each step taken from now on will determine how the work is done and what is accomplished, so hopefully as I am guided down the line of beaurocratic paperwork it comes without too many hassels.
I would really like to thank my team who joined me on this trip - they were absolutely wonderful in helping ask all the right questions and for getting a grasp on the bigger picture - all to formulate a greater understanding, vital for the success of any project...
