We finally made it to the castle. There were a few delays and problems. First of all, we were stuck on the tarmac at Newark Airport prior to take-off to Edinburgh for 2 hours due to mechanical issues, but everything was resolved and we arrived one hour late in Edinburgh. We got here around 11:00 (Scotland time). Then at the baggage carousel, one of the group did not get their luggage, so that kind of sucks. Then, our driver couldn't find the darn castle. But, eventually we made it to the castle and it is really cool. It's exactly like on the website (Fenton Tower). The only issue is the crazy circular staircases. If you have too much to drink, your safety could be an issue, but what the heck! There's no complaining when you are staying at a castle for free! We had a great meal tonight of prime rib, potatoes and yorkshire pudding - a real Scottish Sunday meal. We've toured all around the castle and the scenery is amazing. It's so green and pretty. I've already heard bagpipes and seen someone all decked out in a kilt. The driving is CRAZY! Skinny streets and on the opposite side. It's a good thing we have a driver all week.

Tomorrow we are off to tour around Edinburgh, Roslyn Chapel and then supper at some restaurant. I'm sure it will be an early night since we are all exhausted from travelling since yesterday. More updates to come, so stay tuned! Oh - and the weather was beautiful today. Let's hope it continues! Cheerio!
