Australia Day weekend boy and I went to Wellington dam for some Maron. There were about 20 of us counting adults and kids. In all 4 tents, 1 camper and my caravan. i got a chance to try out my theory about catching fish and you get them by jigging from the bottom. I caught 2 Red Fin Perch. There are not too many marron left in the dam these days and it is hard work catching them. Boy is usually pretty good at catching them but this time he was crap. I had too much to drink so I couldnt catch them but I could still spot them.We had a huge storm blow in on friday. Edy had about 5 people hanging off his camper to hold it down, one tent collapsed with a broken pole and the girls tent turned into a river. The storm lasted about 20 or 30 minutes and we got about an inch of rain in that time.It was amazing while it lasted and dissapeared as fast as in came.
