I�m finally getting a summer at last! Yippee! It was 35 degrees today. Getting a little too freckly though for my liking - and that�s with factor 60! I�m really not complaining after Lima.

Went to Sugar Loaf Mountain today in a cable car. There were beautiful views from up top - now I appreciate why they brag about Rio being a beautiful city. Then chilled out on the beach at the bottom for a while. My body is not fit to be exposed at the minute, what with big red welts from mosquito bites and my beautiful bruise - I�m looking particularly sexy - not! Staying in a pretty safe area of Rio, Botafogo, I�m pleased to say so haven�t got that scary feeling - yet. Moved hostal today and it is really friendly with lots of young people so feeling pretty happy.
