No time for Phoenix and Tucson as planned, so we headed west back to California and a few days in Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree NP.  The weather was hotting up now so we kept the hiking to the 49 Palms Trail and some short nature trails, the best one being Hidden Valley trail.  We stayed at the lovely Hidden Valley campground and got some great night shots.
