We started with a big sendoff on the USS Alabama. The city of Mobile sent the police chief and some southern belles(high school seniors from all over Mobile that do promo work for the city) to give a proclamation. I was so emotional during the ceremony because it really hit me what an incredibly important cause this is and how I am representing my city and state on this venture to make a difference in this world. I feel very fortunate to have this oppurtunity.

We rode 101 miles in a serious headwind(not a good thing at all) We met the football coach of So Mississippi State and the athletic director of the university. We spoke to a group of athletes. Good day!
