how is every one?
Well it that time of week again when i'm siting in a cabin for 2o or for boy who sleep occasionally and bathe even less. But hey it a job, well if you can all it that.
Well I guess ill tell you about the weekend that has rust gone past.
Friday came around and it was finely time to relax and let our hair down. Kari had rang me during the week to was what Mark and I were doing for the weekend and to see if we would like to hang out. Myself and Mark jumped at the chance so Friday evening at around 6 Kari, Abby and a friend of Abby's (two of that staff from summer last year) came picked us up and we went out for dinner. Mark and I quickly decided on a stake for dinner after a week craving red meat. We were almost finished our meal when we got a call from Timmy another staff member from last yeah ask if we would all like to go to a movie after we with done with dinner. We meet Tim at the theater and decided on seeing Night at the museum 2, a movie with Ben Stiller. Which I would gladly recommend that you don't see unless your being eat by a dingo in a tree that is growing in the middle or New York. After that we went to Wal*mart before calling it a night. Saturday morning came around and we woke up and one by one found out Brent who had been working the night before and gone kayaking and flipped over and had hurt his knee struggling to get out. Then pulled the kayak to the bank hid it and swam the rest of the way down the river trying to catch up with the group he was working with. We hung around the camp before deciding that we should get the kayak that had been left on the bank. So four of us,(Brent, Tyler, Mark and I) tied a canoe to Brent's car roof. took it to the river and paddled to where the kayak had been left only to find it had been stolen by someone disappointed and a little mad we paddled back up the stream and heading back to camp.
After the hard work the next move we made was to the lodge. For pizza, beer and a game of risk till it was late.
Sunday dawned and after pottering around the camp we were invited to a campfire and general gathering at Chris's house. Chris has just bought him self an old school house which started its life in 1890 or so. He is about halfway finished in turning it it to a home with most or the old old building still standing and unfinished wood being used to transform it. We stayed there till 11ish chatting, larph and general taking it easy with a few beers before heading back to camp. We spent Sunday sleeping and taking it slow as it was memorial day. Before being invited out Kristen's house for a cook at her and her parents house. We jumped at the chance for some home cooking we headed down. We headed back before dark to get some sleep and get every thing readying for the kids to come the next the next day.
Well thats all I have for now.
As I sit here the night before my birthday' (my 2nd away from home) I think of all the good things to come.
Miss you all
