Sorry folks, it's been a crazy couple of days and I haven't had much time to write out journal notes or get on the 'net. We had a little bit of trouble getting out of Egypt and in to Jordan the other day but all is well again. If you are reading this in sequence you already know what happened and if you are reading this as I'm posting stay tuned, I promise to put the last couple of days up on the blog. I just wanted to drop in and say everything is going good and we are all (relatively) happy and healthy. We are on our way back to Egypt tomorrow and we will be on our way back home soon.

I am so sorry to hear about the horrible snafu. Hopefully you'll be able to look back, sometime in the future and chuckle about that horrible day.
fyi..your posting of that fubar day did not come up until sometime within the last couple of hours. It is currently Saturday afternoon, 4:30 PM. Your posting from Amman was online the day before yesterday. So it's been a little confusing trying to interpret your Amman post.
As I write this, you should be in the airport in Cairo, and if all goes well, you'll be back at SeaTac in less than 16 hours, and home in 18.
Can't wait to see, talk to you!

I'm a little rusty at telling and computing time. I quit wearing a watch when I retired!

So glad you are all safe. As mentioned, the prior posting was not displayed so I was worried about you guys and praying your were okay. Glad to hear all is well and can't wait to give you all a hug and kiss today!!!
