Well we arrived in Bangkok and sat around in the airport for about 6 hours trying to catch SARS and waiting for Anna to show up. We spent the next couple of days generally being bums and doing a little shopping in the malls and markets. While fairly nice we decided it was time to head out to somewhere prettier. We hooked up with a train ride down to Chumphon and hopped on a ferry out to the island of Kho Tao. Kho Tao is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever ever been to. We are staying in a place called the Coral Grand Resort where Tamara and I are staying for free because we signed up for a diving course. We will be done with our open water diving certification in two days. So far we have had two dives in the ocean with my deepest being 11 meters. Tamara pulled off 12 meters on the same dive but it is because she hit bottom. Anyway tomorrow we will do another dive and then Sunday we will complete the course and be certifiable hehehe. Apparently our last dive will be down to about 18 meters or so. Okay so Thailand is really amazing is about all I can say. It is pretty dang hot but you get used to it or just go underwater. It is pretty hard to describe well so I will just put up a few pictures when I get home. Underwater is even more fun than hanging out on the island, I reccomend that everyone try out a little scuba action because it is just amazing. Anyway in a couple days we will be meeting back up with Anna in Bangkok because she headed to Kho Samui yesterday because she wanted a more social island where people stayed above water once in a while. Tata for now.

Your personal deity,

Brian
