We woke up to clear skies and beautiful views of Nilgiri and other peaks. We walked down the valley amongst many donkey trains. There was one difficult bit where there had been a landslide but the boys helped Maggi through. We then reached a high and long bridge which we got caught in the middle by fully laden donkeys coming in the other direction. Luckily none of our stuff fell down to the river but we had to turn back as donkeys can't go backwards!! We were able to turn back just before massive dynamite explosions from where a road was being built that sent rocks crashing into the river. As if that wasn't enough excitement we had to cross a freezing cold river barefoot so had plenty of adventure.

The boys' minds were distracted by a couple of pretty Nepali girls who we dubbed "Miss Nepal" as they had been watching the national qualifying competition on TV.
