It's official, Sihanoukville comes top of our "South East Asia Crap Towns List"....it sucks. It is Cambodia's only deep water port, and was created in the 50's, which makes for a sprawling ugly town, and a pretty grotty port area. People come here for two reasons, the beaches (which are reasonable, but the best ones are owned by private resorts an so of limits to us poor backpackers) and the sex industry. The town is full of "sex tourists"...what we have come to call sex perverts. Middle aged men travelling on ther own are everywhere, and whilst Im sure some of them are there for genuine reasons, the vast majority are not....which makes the whole place VERY seedy.
Duncan went on a tour of the nearby national park, which he reports is very nice, lots of birds and magroves and dolphins, I was layed up in bed with a cold :-(

It sounds like ure still havin fun out there I love the photos it looks so amazing its shit here in England icy this mornin the winters kicked in wish I was there being exciting with you alas I have a full week of work ahead of me how depressing :0(
