Friday fun, a trip to Digby about 320km from Stewiacke. Great trip, Kavan stayed at the cottage and completed some school work. The drive up was fairly fast and easy due to the 4 lane freeway. Closer to Digby we had great views of the "Fall" colours through the beautiful farming lands.

Digby sits on the Bay of Fundy and it has incredibly fast tides and huge Scallops and lobsters. The village of Digby is very beautiful it's a really good example of a fishing village. What to do in Digby..... Eat seafood! So we went for lunch and were not disappointed with the meal we had, Just wonderful! The Scallops were huge and the Clam Chowder was awesome, well worth the visit.

Oh course we the had to go and do a little souvenir shopping, tee shirts, hats great day out.

On returning we stopped into Evan and Nicks work shed where they are building their sail boat and found out Friday night activity was going into Truro to the Haunted Corn Maze.

We had one of the best nights out with the kids, it was a really serious set up with 3 other set ups in an old pig shed, the was a mortuary , a barn, a house as well as the corn maze. Fan-bloody-tasic. The was about 100 people all in really great costumes playing the part of Zombies, Dead bodies that come to life and scare the B-Jesus out of you. In the corn maze there was a school bus filled with Zombies and people jumping out of the corn at you or stalking you through the maze, not to mention the guys running at you with Chainsaws running and cars roaring, lights flashing.... BRILLIANT haven't laughed so much in a long time.
