Into Carnavon again to get supplies and fill up the tanks. We crossed the Tropic of Capricorn today so we are now officially in the tropics – making Ant very, very happy. We arrived at Coral Bay in the afternoon set up camp at a caravan park (Bayview Coral) and headed out to the lagoon for a snorkel. After yesterday's amazement I must say we were a little disappointed. Still pretty but certainly nothing on yesterday’s adventure. In fact pretty all round unimpressed with Coral Bay. It is completely tourist focused, it is basically one big caravan park with a couple of overpriced shops – attached to the caravan parks, and loads of Coral Bay tours for outlandish prices. All good though, it’s just a one night stop spot, expensive as it is Astrid and I relished in the shower factor. As we know from tomorrow on it could be a while… We are heading into Cape Range Nation Park to bush camp for a week or so, well that’s the plan anyway….
