We left Walardi Campsite today to camp at the other site in the Bungles, it's called Kurrajong.  This turned out to be what we think it a much nicer campsite.

Once we got there we set up camp and headed out to do walk to Echidna Chasm, this is a chasm in the rock that is best viewed at Midday, so we were right in the slot to see it at the right time.

It was a reasonably long walk for the kids in the head of the early afternoon, but was well worth it.  The chasm was awesome, and the kids did really well.  Once we'd done the chasm we went to the lookout that is nearby.

One thing we really noticed was the rock type was totally different to the other side of the park.  Not the beehive formations that everyone assiciates the bungles for but was a really amazing conglomerate type of rock.

Once we got back to camp, the kids plated in the dry creek bed that winds around the campground.  They were throwing rocks into a pool of water that hadn't dried out just yet.  Hours was spent there by the kids just having fun with rocks, water and Henry's cars.
