After a freezing cold night (and yes it WAS freezing), we got a late start on our walk today.

We headed out along the domes walk, intending to divert out to Cathedral Gorge, but we took a wrong turn and ended at a water hole in a cave (I think there was supposed to be some rock art in there, but we couldn't find it). We headed back and found the correct turn and headed in to Cathedral Gorge.

The bungles were awesome, but Cathedral Gorge was spectacular, it was really impressive. We had lunch in the cave at the end of the gorge.

After lunch we headed out to Picaninny Gorge, to the lookout. The lookout was nice, but the kids were spent, and it was a real task keeping them going

Back to camp for some R&R. The kids had a great time playing with some other children from a neighbouring camp.

We went out to a different lookout to take advantage of the view with the sun setting. Our camp neighbours went too, and the kids had more fun up there, drawing and running around.

Needless to say we all slept well that night.
