Today I'm heading for Iguazu, walked to the subte (subway) and took it to the Retiro (bus depot).  What I was not anticipating is that there are three buildings there - the first is the subte station, the middle is for the local buses that run around town and the last building is the bus depot for the Omnibus.  Once you climb the ramp up to the bus depot there is a little information booth, walk up to it and tell the guy where you are going, he'll give you a list of a couple of the over 100 kiosks to go to for that area.  The buses headed north to Iguazu left in the late afternoon.
I got a cama exec bus for $567 pesos.  The ride will last from 2:00 till 9:00am tomorrow morning.  The bus was well maintained and the washroom cleaned regularly.  Meals were pretty good.

Along the drive there's alot of farming - corn, grains, tobacco some ranching.  Several little road side food stands along the road out of BA for the truckers coming out of town.
