Sharon's leg is still not that great - so I took the boys to Hartley Crocodile Adventures while Sharon had the most relaxing day she's had for ages - did some puzzles, watched a movie and read a book all with no interuptions or kids! The things you have to go through for that to happen. Not so great for me, juggling 3 boys all day but we all made it home so that is something.
Hartley's has been situated on the Hartley River (1/2 way between Cairns and Port Douglas) for 75 years and was the first place in Australia where you could get an interactive crocodile experience.  Today they have a bunch of crocs and other wild life which you can walk and cruise around and see as well as a bunch of informative demonstrations and wildlife feeding sessions.  The boys had a great time checking out the crocs, venemous snakes and wallabies.  Not to mention some sleepy, but still awake, Koalas.
At one point I suggested to Ethan that he should climb into the pen of a 4.5m croc and sit on his back so I could take a photo of him and send it to his friends back at school.  He asked why and I told him it would be a pretty cool photo.  Next thing I knew he was scaling the fence.  I had to grab him and explain I was only kidding..... I think we'll have to keep an eye that boy!  Further discussion on the matter revealled that he had considered the fact that the croc might just eat him.
We had a pretty good day but it was a long one, we got back to the caravan park at about 4.30pm.
