Our vacation began with me working. You see, I've been on the night shift, meaning that I work from 7 pm to 7 am. It also happens that I had a lecture after I got off, so vacation actually began around 9:30 after I'd finished all of that and gotten a shower. The good part to all of this is that I'm not actually using any vacation days...I just got my shifts scheduled with a nice patch off that overlapped Emily's spring break.

Needless to say, Paul did all of the driving. The drive was uneventful except for encountering notable traffic in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. We made it in time for a not-too-late dinner. We walked from our hotel to the Market Square which is a Mexican marketplace. We, naturally, had some good Mexican food.
