Through the course of my travels I have drank some kick ass alcohol. I've tried beers, wines, ports, whiskeys, you name it. Now, I don't do this because I'm a raging alcoholic. Alcohol is meant to be enjoyed in moderation. Just like the label on your beer bottle tells you. Each region in the world makes it own brew. This is a very important part of the local culture and therefore imperative that any willing traveler partake.

The problem often rests in remembering what it is that you have drunk. I don't mean this because of having a few too many, but rather due to time and a lack of paying attention when consuming said cultural beverage. And what a loss it is to not be able to remember the amazing blonde (beer that is) that you had in Belgium, or the Lager in a Swiss town. Therefore I have decided from here on out to write down what I drink and what I think of each drink.

Bucharest, Romania
1. Ursus- this was a basic lager, would drink if there was not much else
2. Silva- this is a very dark beer with high alcohol content. I would suggest only having one as it is filling and will make you very tipsy
3. Zipfer- this is from Scotland, not Romania. It's a light ale
4. Gosser- this German beer was really nothing to write home about

Sofia, Bulgaria
1. Kamenitza- this light colored beer is very strong for a lager

Belgrade, Serbia
1. Jelen Pivo- this tasted like Bud lite, never again!
2. Lav- this had a nice light flavor to it, lager

Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina
1. Sarajevska- at the brewery I tried the light, dark, filtered, and unfiltered versions. It is a lager with very high alcohol content. Very much would recommend

So those are my reviews for this trip. I think that I should pay more attention to what type of beer I'm drinking and what region of each country it is from. I should also write more about the flavor.
