Started our day with an 8km detour when I missed the turnoff
and wouldn't listen to Rosalyn who actually knew the way. This mishap was
followed by a gentle climb of 57km into a headwind (ouch). After lunch at 71km
we pushed on to another desert campsite next to a police checkpoint near Qena
at the 130km mark. Everyone seemed so tired and relieved to finish they didn’t
complain about the workmen moving cement pipe with backhoes next to our tents.
After dinner we crawled into our tent and fell asleep by 7.
