Yesterday started the birthday whirlwind! I left Naples in the morning for Fort Myers- to fly to Tulsa. Unfortunately, I did manage to get that sunburn and it was terribly uncomfortable. But, I made it to Tulsa!
Deepak's Mom, Erica, and Deepak met me at the airport. We went back to the house to prepare for a feast, it was Erica's 7th Birthday! We made so much food but, had a great time. I even managed to sneakily make Kristen's famous cheese puffs for Deepak. The party started at 7 PM at the neighbor's pool. (The neighbors were so nice, I can only dream how sweet everyone will be in Texas, southern/southwest/mid-west charm)
I was pretty much out at 11 last night, the sunburn on my legs killed me and they were actually swollen and puffy.
This morning was much better, which I attribute to all the birthday luck! Deepak got to sleep in this morning while his mom and I went to get pedicures and manicures (something I've never done!) It was so luxurious! After Deepak's birthday lunch at Sonic, we just relaxed all afternoon. His Mom has cooked up another feast! This time Indian! It looks beautiful and smells delicious.
I've started packing for California and New Zealand- almost wanted to pull my hair out but, I think I've got it under control now. I'll be devoting some of the afternoon tomorrow to finishing the packing. Then, we're off on Monday! ahhh!

I didn't know you guys were going to my home California and then to New Zealand!!! WOW!!!! This is really really great!!! Have a wonderful trip darlin and know that I feel so fortunate to know you and to have you in my life! So inspiring and loving!
