An early start for Team Simba to make us a proper fry up - and they did a very good job (using the large quantity of bacon and sausages we had overspent on). Then it was signing waivers etc for our rafting trip. We headed down to the Nile...not a long walk but not an easy walk either! I joined a raft with 8 others - little full but not too bad and we got told the rules, and what we needed to do - ie paddle and not hit anyone with oars! Then we started down the nile... Not much to say other than it was fantastic & that Sara & I were very glad that we didn't join the "Team Extreme" boat (everybody else in the group), who passed through most of the wildest rapids upside down & out of their raft...

so now back at the campsite enjoying the afternoon with free internet access:-)

I see you're having far too much fun clara, even able to get footy in whilst trekking.
Not many places left in the world where a tv of some sort is not capable of tuning in.
Is that a good thing? Keep the boys happy whilst in travel mode! And why not :)
What no bungee for you!! Chicken :) Good on the rapids though i expect, Unlucky for the diving with the blocked ear. Had that one and ended up visiting the lovely Thai Hospis to get mine checked out. After, they banned me for 3 weeks, i think i lasted 4 days. No probs to date ;)
all good stuff.rich
