Well we arrived a little weary at 4am, got hustled through immigration (they were very keen on getting the money for our visas and headed to the Nairobi Park Services Campsite. We were allocated a room for a few hours, where i slept for about 2 hours before we got up to meet the new people and to have some brekkie before our pre-departure meeting.

We were joined by Kristy a kiwi...and a couple travelling from OZ, but he is a Brit and she is an Aussie, called Dom and Yvette. We got introduced to our truck (a truck at last the joys). Then before lunch we were on the road out...to the supermarket! Got some supplies and lunch and then we were really off. Got to our campsite the Fish Eagle Campsite at Navisha and after a tent erection lesson, we headed to Elsemere, the home of joy adamson (the woman who wrote 'Born Free' about Elsa the lion. There were some amazing Colombos monkeys in the garden and some very very tasty home made cakes, and a movie about her life, and about George Adamson. All very interesting. Then back to the campsite for dinner round the campfire, before an early night coz i was shattered!
