Where I stayed
Well the saturday was a quiet day with more of the same, bit of washing, bit of internet, cards in the bar while the guys concentrated on football, saying goodbye to our guide and eating sugar and lemon pancakes...and finally packing...not a job i like. On the Sunday we got up early for our big bus journey back to cairo (nearly had a heart attack when i discovered a huge coch roach under my bag!! The journey of 9 hours was fairly uneventful, we managed to put jamie in the single seat which meant that he got a lovely scottish girl (who seemed to like to chat) to talk to all the way to cairo. When we arrived, trying to get a taxi almost started a fight, but the tourist police got it sorted in the end and we got back to the sun hotel, grabbed the stuff we left there and then jumped in a taxi to the hotel, (the boys wanted a TV for the Aussie game so i agreed to go early with them to facilitate this)...would have been better if they'd won, but it was brazil!
Then we checked in for our flight to Nairobi (i should probably say here that it was decided that we couldn't go through Sudan as there was only 7 of us so we were going to bwe flying to Ethiopia to continue but then they decided we would go to Nairobi first, do Uganda and ROC and then head up to Ethiopia) so this was where we were headed.
