also part of si phan don, but more south. same same, no luck with the dolphins.  given that it is the low travel season/mosoon season, there are very few travelers and it feels like you own the place and you get the VIP treatment cuz everyone wants your business. even tho, they need your money badly, they are still very chill and not hostil or super aggressive compared to other people and places in SE Asia.



Thank you Laos! for being so hospitable, kind, friendly and enjoyable. its probably going to be the easiest country we' ll be traveling through...
