From Sao Paulo, we flew to Foz do Iguacu on the Brazilian side. These waterfalls are the Niagara Falls of South America but way nicer. They are the meeting of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. These falls were spectacular from the Brazilian side. We spent most of the day there just enjoying the sound of the water crashing down and being in a very natural setting. On both the Argentinian and Brazilian side they have set up massive National Parks to protect the fall. While we were there we repelled down the side of the fall. Well, it was more like a controlled drop down a rope, but a great persective of the falls that not too many people get to see. It was just that first sitting back part that was a little scary, but after that it was not scary at all. For dinner, we went to a typical churrascaria. This is basically a buffet to start with, then about 20 waiters walk around with large skewers of different cuts of meat, and I mean every cut and kind of meat. We were in heaven!!!
