Our third day of hiking the Dingle Peninsula - we walked about 20 kilometers from Annascaul to Dingle. We left our B&B at about 9:20 and arrived in Dingle at around 4:00. The day started off cloudy but the weather cleared up completely and it became quite hot and sunny! We'd applied a rudimentary amount of sunscreen in the morning but this proved inadequate as the hike progressed. We both ended up with a bit of a nasty sunburn. It was definitely a good thing I wasn't meeting up with Shane looking like a lobster fresh out of the boiling pot!

We had a pint at a pub close to the Hillgrove Inn, where we were staying, and Rebecca chatted with a local named Dave who gave us a few restaurant recommendations. We dined at one of those he'd mentioned and I, for the first time in 16 years, willingly chose to break my vegetarian resolution - I feasted on fish & chips!! What's next?! Armed pub robbery?!!?

We again played it low-key, fearing that a Camp posse was on our tail, and turned in early.
