So it begins! Our journey starts out here, Scottsdale, AZ. From here we enjoy our last home cooked meal and warm beds before we embark on our journey to the end of the rainbow tomorrow afternoon. We stop over in LA for a few hours then fly to San Salvador where we will have a lay-over for another couple of hours. Once we leave we then fly to Lima, Peru where our trip takes off.
We are packed, perhaps over packed for Leah, never the less we move on. We are armed with a fake wallet with ID, credit cards, and the works to enjoy the last laugh in the case of a mugging. Well, I leave you all with this quote from a book I recentlly finished;
"Adventure, With all it's requisite danger and wildness, is a deeply spiritual longing written into the soul of man." (and women).

To leah... I wish you the best trip ever.. I feel over the last two days that I was packing for a month long trip to south america, but regardless.. I feel honored that I have been a part in planning and preparing for this trip of yours. You deserve it.. You have spent countless hours researching, reading, and not to forget singing in spanish none the less all for this trip. So I pray that as you are now sitting in an airport in LA (one you discribed as dirty).. that it is all kicking in.. your going.. no turning back, So have TONS OF FUN.. and please stay safe.
And as for Noah.. I know that you are the outdoors man of all outdoors men.. dont get caught up in the act of hiking, stop and enjoy the things around you. This is like no other hike, no other adventure you have been on.. so enjoy it... and make sure leah doesnt die while trying to enjoy it.

Hello Noah and Leah,
I would have to agree with your quote Noah, adventure is a spiritual longing in the soul of living beings. We crave it, seek it, experience it, live off of it, and are allowed to fully live because of it. Things is Porland are sunny, yoga filled, and life is grand. I am thinking of the two of you and sending good energy.............do you feel it! Amber
