At 4:00PM this afternoon I finished my last University of London final exam for the year, proctored by UCSD's extension school. It was surreal to walk out and realize that a month of cramming for exams was over, and now we had mere hours to finish packing and make the mad dash for LA!

We used a one-way rental car to make that mad dash, leaving after 10pm (about 2 hours behind schedule). Laura checked us in while I returned the car, but we made it and here at LAX waiting for our flight to Taipei! I had no worries about any of this adventure, but now that I'm sitting here I'm realizing how much is left unfinished. Good thing we brought a new laptop... WiFi will be our good friend in the weeks ahead.
